SPRING HAS SPRUNG!
...and roving here at my place is overflowing right now! Lots of bunny angora to be blended with wool, and my favorite fleeces from my favorite shepherd's are becoming available now that shearing season is here. The remainder of this weekend will be invested in angora harvesting and wool washing.
Last weekend was Maryland Sheep & Wool festival, and yours truly had a blast working at the Festival T-Shirt Sales building and being a spinner in the Sheep to Shawl contest. We came in fourth (ugh!) however I have nothing for praise for the winning shawls, they were wonderful!
