May is almost here!
Spring is really here!
It is SO wonderful to finally get outside again!
One more week until Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival! Most people celebrate traditional holidays.... but for me, this event is my personal version of the happiest holiday ever!
I will be there all weekend, so if you buy fiber from me from Thursday, May 2 through Sunday May 5, the earliest I will be able to ship will be Tuesday, May 7.
I've dyed up some wonderful spring colors for blending and for sale to you - cormo wools, corriedale, and more! Look for these rovings to go up for sale later this week - mmmm, just wonderful colors came out of the dye pot this weekend!
BIG NEWS: I have been testing out the processing at Gurdy Run Fiber Mill this late winter, and if you follow the link to the left labeled "Spinning Fibers", you will find 3 fabulous new Angora/Icelandic wool selections of specialized blends! Scrumptious, I spun up a little of each color for a sample skein to display with the roving. Gurdy Run did a wonderful job on the delicate process to blend wool and angora bunny fiber, and this roving is a delight to spin.

Why buy spinning fiber from me?
... A good question. I have sold high quality handspinning fiber blends
since 1998. I don't sell a product I wouldn't spin myself! I have loyal repeat
customers and lovingly welcome new ones!
Here is an email I just received the other day. I get emails like this
regularly from my customers.
Julie,
My box came today and as always it is
full of yummy delightful fibers! I may not be able to go to Maryland Sheep and
Wool show, but I can enjoy my box from Julie! Happy early birthday to ME!
Thank you for the hard work you do to be able to offer your lovely products to
me-I truly appreciate it!
Warmly,
Shari
